Question of the week

Why do I feel ravenously hungry every time I write?

  1. It's brain food! I'm the same! I have to nibble!

  2. Low blood sugar? Do you forget to eat because you're caught up in the work? Or do you use it as an excuse not to write?

  9. I tend to drink (not THAT kind of drinking, although it could lead to some interesting writing) more than eat when I'm writing. Give me a yummy, sweet coffee drink and I'm ready to roll!

  10. You lot are all too funny. After reading all your comments, my hunger could be procrastination, thirst, and my brain equating writing with calorie-burning exercise. If only that last part was true!

  11. I'm sure I crave food for the brain, shame it always wants cake and chocolate. Writing must burn some calories...please be true! :)

  12. I'm the exact opposite! The only time I'm not ravenously hungry is when I'm writing - it's the only time I ever go without lunch!

But stick me in front of the telly and I'll eat til I sleep 80)

  14. I'm with Morning AJ - An excuse not to write! Also, I think when we're trying to focus, sometimes that makes us more aware of our bodies.
