Where would your wormhole go? (A to Z = W)

Imagine you have the power to create a wormhole and it can lead anywhere in time and space. Mine would go a few thousand years into the future, when space travel is quick and easy. I'd visit the rings of Saturn and float above the trillions of ice particles, and watch them shine with the rays of the distant Sun.

Where would yours go?

For the science behind wormholes visit Stephen Tremp's W post.

  1. Mine would go round the corner to the shops. Run out of milk? Realise you don't have any paprika halfway through making that chicken dish? No TP and desperate for the loo? No problem, just step into my wormhole...

  7. Thanks for the visit to my blog. Wormhole: can I go back in time? I would love to go back instead of forward. Maybe that's Back to the Future, though.

  15. There is a land on the far side of tomorrow that can only be reached by my own personal wormhole. I've been there, many times, just before awakening and know my house, the furnishings, and the people there. Is that too weird? Have you had that experience?

Hello, fellow A-Z Challenger! Here's my latest entry. Come visit either of my blogs when you can and leave some comment love:

  16. I'd time travel 15 years into the past. I wouldn't think twice about committing several temporal incursions, saving several people I know and cashing in on the lottery. How very un-Starfleet of me, LOL.

  17. My wormhole would be programmable. Rather than bring me to one specific place, I could use the same swirling vortex to travel anywhere I wanted to visit or research for a story, be it Mars, ancient Babylon, a Bengali marketplace, or my kitchen.

  21. Belgium...unfortunately.

That’s the problem with wormholes – they always take you to bloody Belgium!

  22. My wormhole would take me to whatever Heavenly beach my parents inhabit. I always picture them walking hand in hand, barefoot, with the surf curling about their ankles as they walk and revel in the beauty of the sea and shore. Wherever that is. . .take me there. . .
