Friday Fun: Feeling Hungry, Writers?

I wrote this post a while ago and was saving it for a rainy day - I decided that day was today. My new migraine medication is messing with my sense of balance. Under known side-effects it lists low blood pressure causing dizziness, light-headedness, and fainting. Whoopee. Which is worse, the migraine or the medication?

Okay. Enough with the self-pity.

Feeling hungry? Please select three courses from the menu below or ask to see the Procrastinator Specials.

Adverbs smothered in a delete-button sauce

  1. lol....great post Ellie! Very creative! I don't know why but the "antagonist vegetable medley" really made me chuckle. And "steamy stir fry".

  2. Loved the post Ellie, hope the medication is working for you.

    Have a happy week-end.

  3. TFF...hope you get better soon.

  4. I'm going with the Procrastinator Specials because that's where I've been the last few days... hope you feel better.

  5. I LOVE this!!

Sorry about the migraine med. Hope you feel better.

  6. LOL! Excellent and so apt for your lightheaded mood. Hope you feel better soon :O)

  7. Sorry about the migraine and the medication, which causes other problems.

Great post for a rainy day. I see something for me from every course!

I asked for agent surprise, but they were out.

  8. Love the options. It almost felt like a list of the books in a Harry Potter book with clever titles and funny writers.

My hubby has always had problems with migraines but he doesn't do well with meds, since if there's an obscure side effect, he'll be the one to experience it. His neurologist, after trying four different meds, told my hubby to start taking at least 400 mg of Magnesium and 400 mg of Folic Acid. That was in February, and he hasn't had one of those drop you headaches since. He still gets an occasional headache but not those really bad ones. His brother who last year started getting ones so bad he'd pass out, started taking the vitamins, and he's doing better. Just a thought.

  9. Look, I'm not really hungry - can't I just had a Crap Monsieur?
O Ellie - this is brilliant, made me smile throughout, and so clever.

  10. While I'll pass on the coffee, I'll take the smothered adverbs, the slow roast, and the proofed custard.

  11. Hope the medication gets sorted out soon. I'd definitely gor for the dictionary, the stir-fry and the spotted word pudding. Yum!

  12. Can I tip my waitress in haiku?

  13. I hope that you can get things worked out with the medication and migraine that is such a pain. I like the menu and will be ordering off the procrastination list lol

  14. And now I'm hungry...

    Feel better, Ellie! :)

  15. I love this! So creative. :) I hope you find a good balance between the headaches and the medicine.

  16. I like the agent surprise. I could use one of those. For now, I'm going solo and learning much about the business.

  17. I'll take the stuffed notebooks, but I'll skip the pencil shavings. I always use pen.

  18. they all look yummy! it's so hard to choose!

can i have a side of romance?

  19. Sorry about the migraines. Maybe a little float in space would do you good. ;)
I think I need the procrastination special, please.

Would you be willing to post my blogfest in your blogfest page?

And then I award you this award ;)

  20. Do you have a side order of steamed adverbs?

  21. I hope you feel better soon!

    How about plot-thickened soup?

  22. The Agent Surprise sounds like the best! I hope your headache leaves soon. I have friends who suffer from migraines. They sound miserable. And one friend had to try three medications before one helped. Hope you're feeling better by now.

  26. Ooooh! Very creative. I think I have been indulging too much in the procrastinator's special, which I don't see on your menu.
