Friday Fun: Feeling Hungry, Writers?

I wrote this post a while ago and was saving it for a rainy day - I decided that day was today. My new migraine medication is messing with my sense of balance. Under known side-effects it lists low blood pressure causing dizziness, light-headedness, and fainting. Whoopee. Which is worse, the migraine or the medication?

Okay. Enough with the self-pity.

Feeling hungry? Please select three courses from the menu below or ask to see the Procrastinator Specials.

Starters:

Fried Green Dictionary

Stuffed notebooks on a bed of pencil shavings

Adverbs smothered in a delete-button sauce

Main Courses:

Slow roasted plot with light conflict

Pan fried fillet of protagonist, with antagonist vegetable medley

Steamy stir-fry of sexy characters

Desserts:

Re-constituted word soufflĂ©

Spotted word pudding with proofreading custard

Agent Surprise

Complimentary Coffee:

We hope you enjoy your meal, and are always happy to take suggestions for new dishes.

  8. Love the options. It almost felt like a list of the books in a Harry Potter book with clever titles and funny writers.

My hubby has always had problems with migraines but he doesn't do well with meds, since if there's an obscure side effect, he'll be the one to experience it. His neurologist, after trying four different meds, told my hubby to start taking at least 400 mg of Magnesium and 400 mg of Folic Acid. That was in February, and he hasn't had one of those drop you headaches since. He still gets an occasional headache but not those really bad ones. His brother who last year started getting ones so bad he'd pass out, started taking the vitamins, and he's doing better. Just a thought.

  22. The Agent Surprise sounds like the best! I hope your headache leaves soon. I have friends who suffer from migraines. They sound miserable. And one friend had to try three medications before one helped. Hope you're feeling better by now.
