We are the Borg. Resistance is futile.

No. No. No. Not that kind of Borg. I mean this kind.

All those signed up for the Star Trek As We Know It Blogfest should report for duty Monday, August 22nd.

Dismissed.

  3. Oh man, the borg used to scare me so bad. I had nightmares about them invading our house through the kitchen after watching that movie the first time. Not as scary as the whale song from The Voyage Home though.

  5. I'm still putting the final touches on my post. Should I have a Star Trek marathon this weekend? Looks like more wasted time coming up. Make it so!

  6. I certainly will. I'm so excited to begin this. I'm also doing Rachael Harrie's platform-building campaign. Simultaneous blogfests will have me very busy! hehehe

  12. to be a pain in the ass, cuz i can: bjorn's surname is actually pronounced 'BOREE', like candice bergen's is 'BAERYEN'... it's a swedish thing... not the way they'd be pronounced in anglo-saxon, aka 'english'...

the swedish city of goteborg is pronounced as yoeteboree... to help anglos, they also spell it gothenbourg

same thing with other teutonic [germanic] names: like KOLN, mit der umlaut over the 'o', is KOELN [not that hard to say in anglo], is given the anglo spelling of: cologne... why? beats me!

anyway, oilcan harry is, kinda/sorta, ready for tomorrow :O lol
